Morning Commute

I'm sitting here in a meeting still shaking with a faint breath...

While driving to work today I hit a water puddle. My car hydroplaned off the road and into a four wheel skid. I plowed right into a newly planted orchard taking a bunch of saplings with me. I thought for sure that I was going to roll but my Explorer pulled out of the skid.

Needless to say, I'm still dealing with the anxiety an hour after it happened.

sounds like it's just as wet up there as it is down here. glad to hear nothing more serious happened.

all i want now is some clean non-runoff polluted water...

Yikes!! That is scary shit dude. I hydroplaned once, that goodness it was on a desert road with nothing around to break my spin. Lately because of this rain, I've been thinking about that night alot and also being 10 times more careful then I usually am.

Glad you're OK!

Damn, I'm surprised you didn't have to clean off your seat after that. And good thing you didn't have the Explorer tires of 8 years ago -- who knows if they would've held up.
