To sum up Microsoft vs Apple

There's lots of debate circled around Microsoft vs Apple. Strong bias is split between companies but if I were a betting man my money would be on Apple...or Google...or any other company out there that's in front of the pack. See I think it comes down to what the people want:


Nobody wants to be with a follower


Would you want to hang out with the dork that's trying to be cool? Companies like Apple and Google are delivering blockbuster products and at every turn Microsoft is playing catchup. I almost feel bad for the company because they get close but they just can't seem to one up the leaders.

I'm thinking about this because I'm almost ready to get back into technology stocks after getting burned during the dot com crash.
